Haha I’m a gamer too and twitch is huge. I mean amazon did buy twitch for 970mil. However the people who actually “make it” on twitch are far and few in between. Those who barely make ends meet doing twitch full time are probably TOP 5% of streamers, and those who make good money are TOP 1% or less. My opinion: start twitch part-time first, when something substantial comes along then you might consider going full time.

Is money the only factor here? There are a lot of things to consider - 1) how did u calculate this “potential” earnings? Is it the average pay or only the top 1% of the industry drawing this pay? 2) which role would you enjoy more? Or does it matter? Are you just doing it for the money? If its you’re very confident of the earnings then you don’t really have to worry about the “uncertainties“. At 150k per year you can more than cover yourself with health benefits etc. Just requires proper financial planning. - coming from somebody who has been a freelancer before and is somewhat a freelancer now.

Unpopular opinion but it’s another perspective and I went through this - How old is your mom, who does the house belong to and is your mom open to declaring bankrupt? another Question you have to ask yourself is: are you totally ok with helping to pay off your mon’s Debt? When i was 15, my dad ran into a lot of debt and had to be declared bankrupt. My mom who was working in a bank for 31 years had to give up her job because you cant be in a bank if you have an immediate family member who’s a bankrupt. Long story short, both parents declared bankrupt. Tbh, bankrupts in Singapore are quite protected. Yes, you cant own property, cant leave the country etc, but you can still get by. Additionally, the official assignee will handle your mom’s debt and See if it’s possible to workout a deal, so you don’t have to worry about it. In my case, my parents struck a deal to pay off a fraction of the debt with cpf when they reached the withdrawal age.

I’ve been using iPhones for a very long time, and previously used 2 macbook pros for 10 years. Tbh, it’s much easier to switch the macbook because the laptop market is so competitive right now that you’re paying waaaaaay more money for outdated hardware on the macbook. In fact only the MacBook Pro with touch bar is kind of current generation hardware with 8th gen Intel chips. All other MacBooks are previous generation hardware. I switched to a PC 3 years back and never missed the macbook. I’m wondering if this is the moment for me for iPhone as well.

1) Work in a $4.50/$5 per hour F&B job. You will learn to serve and you’ll appreciate money a lot more. 2) You’ll start looking at things you wanna buy in hours. Suddenly that $10 Starbucks coffee looks like 2hours of your work. Is it worth it? 3) Before you buy something (that you want), take sometime to consider. For example if it’s a bag that you wanna buy, look at it first then come back 2,3 months later and see if you still want it. Impulse buying is extremely dangerous.... for your bank account. 😂

It didn't close down, it just got renamed to coinbase Pro basically. I have not tried transferring so i'm not sure if there are fees there.

Tough question - the truth is it takes a lot of hard work to perform well in any industry. If you want to go into aviation just because you think it's easier - i suggest you do not. It will probably burn you out in the long run - especially since you have already identified that you have a passion in hospitality.
