No monthly contribution. You just have to keep the money there, the longer it's held the higher the interest earned. Every 6 months there'll be a payout.

Travel to nearby countries, such as Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia... it's not expensive and full of culture. Will be a good experience for you

I'm for Dollar Cost Averaging, as you don't have to time the market. But the downside is that there is a need to pay a transaction fee on a regular basis and that can add up to be costly

I bought Aviva Term from their website via Direct Purchase Insurance.. I thought they'll follow up with sending me the hardcopy documents and all, but nothing came in the mail. I forsee that making claims may be tough in the future, since I don't have any documentation, except for an email. I'm considering cancelling after one year and changing to buy through an agent instead.

For shares, I guess it's still better (and safer) to stick to blue chips. I will not buy something that I've not heard of before.

I pay all at one shot via DBS ibanking, so that I don't have to think about it anymore for the rest of the year! Haha.

Heard that Ethereum is doing better than bitcoin now. But overall, I still find crypto currency something rather new and too risky to consider for investment purposes...
