What is the difference between managing my investments myself and putting it with roboadvisors?

I think the mainpoint of roboadvisors is to consistently practise DCA to reap more rather than lump sum. Whether its 5k / 10k into syfe, it shouldnt matter as much if you are practising DCA. Managing your own investments are great when you have time as roboadvisors are considered passive investment which you do not need to manage all the time. But definitely more time have to be invested first to understand what kind of index/ equities you are interested in and their performance in the past years etc. End of the day its your choice but consistent DCA into roboadvisors and invest on your own is what I'm doing!

Could someone share some advice on StashAway and your referral code, if any, please?

There are already tons of referral codes down here so i'd skip mine. Stashaway is a simple roboadvisor governed by MAS so you can keep a peace of mind when your funds are there. Initially, you would have to take a quiz regarding your risk appetite and what Stashaway would recommend you. However, to unlock higher risk (25% - 35%) , you would have to take a quiz from SGX and score 95% or higher. Send this results to stashaway and you would be able to unlock investing with higher risk with Stashaway!

Unsure towards STI, majority of % under financials so it is more towards how the local banks will develop and produce during the pandemics. SREITS in my opinion are still doing fine despite the pandemic and the boom is for likely upon recovery. Here are some tools for S-Reits i hope it helps (https://seedly.sg/tools/reits)

I think FSM so far appeals most to me. As a current user, most US stocks are available at USD 10 (applicable at both buying and selling points) FSM also offers RSPs where US stocks like S&P 500 are offered for a fee of only USD 1 and selling fee of USD 8.80. For roboadvisors does the type of stock being purchased change every month, assuming some stocks become cheaper than others?

More often than not, the stocks being purchased should remain the same. The percentage are the one that could change depending on the risk factor of your portfolio. If a stock becomes cheaper, you would be able to get more of it at a equal price compared to before which is good in a long run!

In roboadvisor, can we choose the stocks we want to buy? Any suggestions?

We can't choose stocks but we can choose the portfolios and risk levels. The risk levels determine the percentage of equity / bonds. Higher risk = More equities whereas lower risk = More bonds. Depending on your risk appetite and sectors where you are interested in, each portfolio fits differently.
