Your best bet would be AIA Solitare PA or AIA Glow of Life to justify your premiums with the benefits However if you still have a gap in your coverage, why not consider other plans AIA has to offer?

First of all, I hope you have thought through and come to a conclusion after weighing the pros and cons before you cancel the plan. I believe your agent friend has done his due diligence before proposing this plan that might be suited to your need. I think you should speak to your agent friend and explain to him your reasons why you want to cancel. A good friend will take into account your considerations and go ahead to assist with the procedure. As an agent myself, I would have hoped my friend tell me that they are cancelling and explain the reason behind it as compared to cancelling without my knowledge [email protected]

Hi, Medical insurance in Singapore remains affordable and provides great coverage against your hospitalisation bills. Thus, underwriting is one of the strictest compared to other policies. Despite you thinking that you are at the pink of your health, any minor deviations in health might cause you not to be able to be insured under Integrated Shield Plan. Get it asap. [email protected]

1. Be aware of the 90 days waiting period 2. Existing policyholders of AIA Healthshield Gold Max are still not affected by the changes in the integrated Shield Plan in 2020. If you switch, I believe that you would be part of the new scheme which have to bear the 5% cost 3. From my understanding, Prudential has a claim structure which increases premiums of claimants and discounts for non-claimants. I would suggest not to replace your existing coverage. If you think premiums are expensive, consider AIA Healthshield Gold Max A Essential Saver

Hi there Health insurance has one of the strictest underwriting for new policyholders. At 55 with such conditions, it is most likely the no insurers would be willing to underwrite this policy under Integrated Shield Plan. However, you can still go ahead and try and see if the underwriters are willing to incept this case.

Hi there I'll list them some questions for you to check away so that you can make a decision 1. What is the interest rate payable for your loan? How did you land yourself in that loan? 2. If you would do buy term and invest the rest, will you actually buy term and invest the rest NOT spend the rest? 3. Are you still able to afford whole life? Whole life provides limited payment premium term and covers you till 100 years. Term insurance premiums would be revised and renewed at a certain age and typically the cover stops at 65.

Hi Going with an open mind would be great and just thinking in all the information from the insurance agent. Ask questions along the way and clear your queries with the agent. I am an agent myself and I always ask my clients "What do you know about insurance?" so that I can gauge what to cover in our appointment because different people have different perceptions of insurance. Be as honest and open about your finances to your agent so that he has the correct amount to propose what is best for your situation. Don't feel pressured to sign anything on the spot (it shouldn't be the case) but have the urgency to really think through and clear your queries with the knowledge you have. If you feel the agent is honest, trustworthy and gives very great advice, then go ahead with the policies with him/her. He has done his work to serve your insurance policies. If you need an advisor, feel free to drop me an email [email protected]

Hi I agree with Gabriel. Consider adding rider to your current policy. But if the plan doesn't allow, you can consider a standalong early CI plan with no cash value. But if you want something limited pay, then you can consider having a whole life with early CI. I'll drop you my email [email protected] if you need a second quotation!
