I am looking for a card I can use for daily spending (groceries, petrol, etc.) that can give me more perks (points/rewards). Is this a good one for it?

I wouldn't say this card is good for everyday expenses because its benefits are towards exclusive offers and privileges.
This card gives 2% cashback on wine & dine, entertainment, recreation, automobile or duty free store purchases. So, the perks come in from when you indulge in finer things in life rather than the daily needs. However, if it were to be dailyt spending, you will still get a 1.5% cashback and this is for both overseas and local spending.
The discounts and exclusive deals can be found in e-commers, shopping, dining, travel, golf and other areas we spend on to pamper ourselves. The restaurants participating in these deals are places like Casa Roma (20% off ala carte menu), Luca's Trattoria (25% off ala carte menu) or Sun with Moon Japanese Dining (up to 15% off). Definitely higher end restaurants that most of us will not frequent so I wouldn't suggest using this card as a daily expenses card cause it really doesn't give you many deals for everyday spending!

Hi! While CIMB World MasterCard has its perks–no annual fee and unlimited cashback (so it's easy to use)–there are quite a few credit cards on the market that might be a better fit for paying everyday expenses.
For background, CIMB World is best fit for high spenders, especially those with big social budgets. Cardholders earn 1.5% unlimited cashback on general spend, boosted to 2% in categories like "wine & dine" (dining), entertainment & recreation (leisure), automobile & parking, duty-free shopping spend and petrol. Just to point out–CIMB doesn't offer extra fuel savings (like 20% discounts at Shell) like most other banks, so it wouldn't be a great match if you're looking to save on petrol.
While 1.5%–2% is high for an unlimited card, it's not a particularly competitive rate if you spend less than S$7k–S$8k/month–if you have a smaller budget, you can earn more for your spend with a capped cashback alternative. An alternative that works better for everyday needs might be Maybank Family & Friends.
MB Family & Friends Card's is essentially no fee for the average consumer–it's waived for 3 years, then with just S$12k spend annually (about S$1k/month). You can earn up to 8% rebate on all dining, groceries, transport, petrol & more both in Singapore and Malaysia with just S$800 min. monthly spend, and max out your rewards at S$80/month with S$1k spend. This card is really well engineered because ultimately, if you do spend S$1k/month, you'll earn S$960/year and simultaneously earn a fee-waiver. I'd consider it one of the best everyday cards on the market.
