Is it wise to invest $2-500 monthly indefinitely under this plan? 100% of premium paid goes towards investing. There's a 5% welcome bonus for the first year, and every year after the 10th year. The investing fees are 2.5% for the first 10 years. I am planning to use this for retirement in about 20 years.

As you have mentioned, the fees are at 2.5% which is rather hefty. You can consider roboadvisors/regular savings plan as an alternative where fees can be lower than 0.8%. If you are willing to dedicate more time/money, you can do-it-yourself and potentially bringing down the cost of investment to less than 0.5%.
Unless you are unable to save voluntarily and require a fixed savings plan, I dont think getting it for the sole purpose of retirement/investment is worth it due to the high fees.
