Would you DIY paint your home to save money, or just hire workers and pay for the labour? I heard we can save up to ~$1k if we DIY instead, but not sure if it's worth the effort?

Are you experienced in painting? If not probably hire someone who is good in it to do it.

I engaged Nippon paint to paint my flat. It's a bit pricier but they provide consultation on the type of paint, color combination and etc. Alternatively, I have friends who bought paint themselves and hired foreign workers to come paint on their off-days, saved them some money.

Painting requires some effort - scraping off old paint, several layers of paint, coating (if needed). Not sure about you, but I know I would have screwed up if I did it myself.
