REITs

With large players selling off REITs holdings causing prices to drop significantly, was wondering who are these net buyers?

Who will be willing to buy REIT holdings now?

Hi anon, you can check out the SGX fund flow right here: https://www.sgx.com/research-education/fund-flo.... It shows what institutional sellers are selling/buying, on top of what retail investors are doing.

Having said that, we shouldn't base our buy/sell decisions based on what the large players (like the well-known fund companies) are doing. The big boys can be selling for many reasons, and their time horizon can be short-term too.

However, as retail investors, we can afford to be more long-term oriented and we don't have any "bosses" to answer to, except ourselves.

If you have a long-term view on the REITs you like, and you think they will withstand the current Covid-19 shock, you can consider buying those REITs.
