New Wise customers who join through an invite link choose one gift: a free Wise card or zero Wise fees on a transfer up to S$900. Here's how I'd use it, and the one mistake that wastes it.
Pick the transfer, not the card
Wise's Singapore pricing page already lists the card as free to order, so the card gift adds little for most people. The fee-free transfer has clear value if you send money abroad in the next 6 months.
The mistake: a test transfer
The voucher applies automatically to your next cross-currency transfer and is single use. Send S$20 to try the app and the gift is spent on a S$20 transfer. Make your first transfer the real one, and keep it to S$900 or less to have Wise's whole fee waived.
Things that don't touch the voucher
Card or bank payment fees above the discount still apply, so paying from a bank account in your own name keeps the full saving.
