Will you accept meal or drinks from insurance agent when agent requests to meet up for "finacial planning"?

I would, if they chose the place (usually fast food or just coffee place).

But there was once I met up with one & she suggested a pricey place due to her special diet, I had to pay for my own meal (She didn't offer, in fact asked me to go order my own food first). It left a bad taste actually.

Once in a while

Have it at a fast food restaurant to lessen the guilt.

The short answers to these will be yes and no. When i was an agent, i did it partly as a gesture to thank the person but the person is free to reject.

And as a client/prospect, i always view it as the service provided by the agent, so accepting it as long as it is alright and not to blackmail u or to make u feel indebted, it is fine
