Will there be income tax on crypto that you receive as part of your salary?

• Last time, i was given shares. When i quit, mandatory to sell all the shares.
• When is converted to real money, the money payout as a salary. Only then i pay tax and cpf
• But when u sell your crypto the $$$ will appear in your payslip? Else nobody can track.

If it's a part of your compensation, then yes it should be taxed as well, similar to how stock compensation is also taxed
