However, it is just the initial cooling phase, which last only 15min to 30min. After the room cool down, the thermostat will maintain the room temp, the thermostat will not be activated so freq. Thus the saving is insignificant.
- To save $$$, shut all door/window so the room can maintain it temperature, dT will be more or less constant.
- m is the fan flowrate. So lower fan speed will bring down your bill.
- Also select Auto mode. Manual mode: the fan will just keep blowing. Auto mode after room temp reached, the thermostat will stop the fan.
- Also maintain cleaniness of your fan coil to have better cooling efficiency.
- Of course, setting 1C higher will still save some $$$. It take less energy for the compressor unit.
