Will my spouse be paid for her maternity leave?
Is it a right or a benefit? Someone told me you only get 2 weeks of maternity leave that's paid and the rest is up to the company whether they want to pay you.

It depends on whether your spouse worked for at least 3 months for her current employer. If she's worked for at least 3 months for her current employer, then she is legally entitled to paid maternity leave. If she hasn't worked for at least 3 months for her current employer, then she's entitled to unpaid maternity leave.
Maternity leave varies between 12 to 16 weeks, depending on your child's citizenship.
