Will I be barred from my agent license if I download my client's information and scanned document?

Hi! I am an insurance agent looking to leave my current company for another company who gave me a good offer. Is it illegal if I download my client's document? Will I be barred from my agent license if I do so? I already have these clients' numbers anyway.

The only way to get an accurate answer is to check your agent's contract and with the compliance department. This is because different insurers may have different policies. Therefore, you should not risk your license by getting an opinion on a public platform.
