Why some companies do not provide their employees with a laptop or desktop for their work and require them to use their own? Is that common these days? Would you agree with that?

Becoz company has no $$$ to buy laptop/desktop.
No choice right? If u want the job to pay the bill, u have to agree to use your personal computer.
