Why is it with the introduction of Cancer Drug List, premium of integrated shield plans has to increase?

I thought more cancer drugs are being subsidied and therefore cheaper. The integrated shield plan only cover a few drugs that's not on CDL...

This is part of annual revision of their premiums, based on loss ratio (basically the cost of medical services in Singapore and the trend of claims).

I do not think it is realted to the introduction of cancer drug list.

Not an insurance adviser or underwriter, just looking at the surface of things, they are using any opportunity to increase prices.
