Hi, this is a common feedback.

The coverage is probably designed to compensate for an inflated delivery bill only. It is not for long term loss of income or anything like that.

Maternity Insurance covers more of complications that health shield plan does not cover. Also, the claim experience is high amount insurers. Hence they cover less to keep premiums affordable.

I'm a mum-to-be. Is it critical to get maternity insurance plans? Understand that PolicyPal provides maternity insurance plans too, any recommendations?

Need advise in selecting Global Insurance policies or Local SG Insurance policies that provide coverage to my Mother (age 64 yrs) holding LTVP. She is currently in USA but travelling to SG next month.?
