It could be trading algorithms triggering sell offs. Or funds doing rotation out of stocks and moving cash elsewhere. Well, very often it is also margin calls, when markets keep tumbling, margin calls will be coming left and right.

Saw an article that mentioned these are the 3 stocks they will never sell - SGX, DBS and Nike. Any thoughts on this? A bit skeptical of SGX since so many people are moving to the US market?

What can I do if I have used DBS cash upfront to buy stock, but I feel like selling before settlement date if there is major sell-off or stocks have risen to my targeted price?

If I just bought stocks with cash settlement mode using DBS vickers, and have yet to settle, can I sell before I settle them? If so, how may I sell them? Otherwise, what will happen if I don’t pay for them?

I am intending to contra a stock. If I were to buy on Monday, when is the latest I can sell it? And if lets say I bought with the intention to contra, but forget to sell what will happen?
