Why do govt or rubbish collector insist on us plastic our waste. Why cant we just throw directly. Once my bin not clear w reason the DRIED leave was NOT in plastic bag. WHY got this requirement

WHY there is rubbish bag usage requiement in landed property or hdb rubbish chute.

Isit because hdb rubbish chute is kinda contained whereas landed property, its open, like stray cats/ others can just open and search for stuff?

Didn't know it is a requirement. seen people throw unbaged rubbish from chute.

for hdb or highrise, i guess it is because some wet trash will stuck on the interior. over time, it will be difficult to remove and also attract pests.
