Because the stock is trading at fair value or below fair valuation.

Early this year in their financial report, they did mention to all shareholders that they are buying their shares because they realised their company is trading below instrinsic value and is trading at cheap valuation at 179 USD per BRK.B share.

I did a thorough stock analysis on berkshire hathaway!
