Hi there. Anxiety is not considered a major condition. It also depends on what you mean by 'just recovered'. Are you still on follow up visits, medication? These are important to underwriters in deciding your application outcome.

I cover health insurance from several major insurers like Aviva, NTUC, AXA etc. You can reach me here to find out more.

Hey there!

You will have to submit a preliminary underwriting to the insurer to see the findings. Through the health declaration, your application will either come with an exclusion, loading (increased premiums) or a complete rejection. The exclusion may exclude certain things like suicide, TPD etc so it really depends.

Different insurers undertake a different risk so do approach a licensed financial advisor to submit an underwriting for you to see the findings.

Financial planning is an integral part of life. You can reach me here to find out more.
