Comparing between GE, Singlife Standard and Plus. Assuming paying fully by Medisave, GE will pay $1100 for 1 ADL, while Singlife Standard and Plus will pay $1400 and $1200 for 3 and 2 ADLs respectively. Is there any situation or chance for 1 ADL to happen? Any opinion if should go for higher payout but 2/3 ADLs, or lower payout but 1 ADL?
Did you opt an amount which is fully payable by Medisave, or even higher? How much and what do you consider when deciding the amount of payout?
I also notice that Singlife has rehabilitation benefit for Standard, does this mean it will pay out 50% monthly as long as 1 ADL?
Thank you.

Hi,
I am also in dilemma on this. 2ADL for sure for me, which leaves me with GE or Singlife. GE keeps selling their 1 ADL to clients and bear in mind that you can only claim after 90 days of the assesment, even for 1 ADL.
So my question to GE agents is what are the situations that a person only has 1 ADL and last more than 90 days? If not then this part is quite hard to claim.
If mild stroke, one can easily hit 2 ADLs. If fractured / broken leg, torn ACL also less than 90 days can walk ( not fully recover but can walk without assisting device)

Hi, i am also facing the same dillemma choosing between GE or Singlife (via AIA agent). Assuming no cash outlay, GE offers $1500 vs $1800 from Singlife for coverage but GE only requires 2 ADL to qualify to claim whereas singlife's one require 3 ADL. Also, for GE, if you get 1 ADL, you are qualified to claim 50% ($750) compared to singlife where if you only encounter 2 ADL, you can claim 100% for 12 months. So my main consideration is whether to prioritise amount of payout or the number of ADL to qualify for claim. Currently felt that i am more inclined towards GE but would like to ask for more opinion.
