Its hard to give a single answer as it really depends on your personal risk appetite, your other investments and preferred access / liquidity to the deposits.

Alongside banks, there are various fintechs that can offer SGD denominated high yield opportunities.

As of January 2022, DBS savings account offers the highest interest rate of 3.8% annually. These rates are constantly changing between banks but DBS has been top of the pack for quite a while.

Hong Leong Finance currently offers the highest return of 0.9% for fixed deposit. You will need $20K minimum balance for a 36-month period though.
