The best place to stay depends on what you value like close to nature, near to work, convenience of the MRT, convenience of supermarket and eateries etc. There is no perfect place to stay where you have everything possible.

But in general, probably a place that is near your work / the mrt / bus / supermarkets / hawker centres can be good fsctors to consider if it were me.

Every individual hve their choice of liking. My life born in a shop house living by the road side, as a child we don't know what is serenity, till 20+, we shifted to bukit timah landed, is very quiet at night but no neighbors for my age to be friend with.

Only neighbor uncle & aunty greets u every morning & evening. When I get my hdb with my wife at Strathmore, I was so excited. I got the chance to live in hdb. The area is quiet too during the night & it close to nature, able to spot civet cat roaming in the gardens, otters in the monsoon drain. I hve good neighbors, we get to meet everyday, we hve laughter & chat, almost every year CNY we gather to hve steamboat at lift lobby. How interesting, this is the best place to stay.
