When doing an LPA, do we need the donee to go down to LPA-doctor/lawyer together?

Can we just pre-fill the form, go to LPA-doctor/lawyer and get them to witness me signing the document? Or must the whole donee group be present too?

Hi Gabriel,

Strictly speaking, there is no legal requirement for the donee(s) to be present when signing the form.

However, I do recommend to check with the certificate issuer to see if they prefer that the donee(s) turn up.

I'm the donee for my relative's LPA and I wasn't present for any signing.
