This fund will provide a one-off S$500 financial aid for Singaporeans in the lower- to middle-income brackets and PRs who are struggling during this COVID-19 outbreak due to job or income loss.
Online applications for the Temporary Relief Fund is now opened and started from Monday, 6 April 2020 and will be open until 30 April.
To apply online, simply click on this link: go.gov.sg/temporary-relief-fund anytime from 9am to 6pm. You will also require your SingPass, supporting documents and a PayNow account.
If you are eligible, the money will be credited to you via PayNow conveniently.
I would suggesting doing it online as much as possible so that you can avoid having to go out or be in crowded places. But if it’s really not possible to do it online or that you require the physical forms, you can head down to the respective Social Service Offices and Community Centres as the counters will be open on weekdays.
As much as possible, try to do it online as it is faster and you can avoid having to queue, while avoiding crowded places.
