What would be the recommended joint bank account with your partner?

Planning to use this account for wedding/BTO/reno/kids education. Putting in ~$300 for me, about $1k for my partner. Probably in 2-3 years time we need to plan for wedding?

I prefer to be separate
Becoz if uses joint account. Sometime he/she put less, u not happy. You put less, he/she not happy.
Just 50-50 or whatever allocation when need to pay bills.
Moreover, are both of you married yet?
