Joint-tenancy(50-50) = Any party passes away, remaining party gets the full share

Tenancy-in-common (any percentage) = Deceased share will follow will or follow intestate succession act (No will)

  • meaning to say, spouse may not get full share, have to split among kids or parents etc.. if no kids, no parents no relatives etc.. then spouse gets 100% of the share
