What is your risk profile? Does the investment portfolio form a large part of your net worth? Does investing income form a huge part of your income?

Determine your risk profile first.

Low risk profile:

SSB, FD, Endowment Plans, Corporate Bonds, STI ETF, CPF SA

Mid risk profile:

Small cap, mid cap stocks, blue-chip stocks, unit trusts

High risk profile:

Options, CFDs, Forex
