What to do if you transferred money into an investment scam platform?

Hello, anyone have any idea how or what to do if my friend already pump in money into a platform and realise that the platform does not look legit??
Any idea how to get back the money??

Hi there,

There has recently been a spade of investment scams in the news.

If you suspect that the investment is indeed a scam, you should definitely lodge a police report with all the details of your investment.

Which platform is it? Is it due to holidays that the money takes awhile to be deposited?

Email/ call their hotline and wait for response
Make a police report

If you deposited money through bank transfer/credit card, perhaps you can call your bank and report fraud attempt
