I don’t plan to buy a property in Singapore as I’m buying a property overseas.

Hi anon,
If you don't plan to buy a property in SG, then you can consider transferring to SA to compound. I presume you are migrating but keeping your citizenship, in which case, the relative strength of the Singapore dollar and the 4% interest rate in CPF SA will help you to build a decent nest egg via a higher SA balance when you are closer to retirement. But take note, this is a one way transfer. I'm sure that when CPF LIFE pays out for you, and if you are overseas, arranging for the payouts to be credited to a overseas bank is probably the least of your worries (probably you want to retain a SG bank account for this)
If you are willing to take risk, you can invest the OA monies instead. This does have more flexibility as you can liqudate the investment returns back to OA to pay for a house if you eventually decide to come back.
You'll have to ask yourself what your (very) long term plan is. Good luck!
