What should I do if my contract was terminated without a notice and my ex employer wants me to hand over my work stuff after that?

I'm not sure whether I should collaborate because it's not my job anymore...

If u don't wish to burn the bridge, help them out. the employer might be grateful, remember and offer u something good in the future.

If ur nice

just list out what to follow up to your colleague and CC boss by email

if ur pissed

just let them know u have no time as need find job to eat

Depends on your work environment and people and the difficulty in handing over. As decision can be very different is so many different cases.

No notice means immediate & LWD is over?? If so - just return everything to company and get exit signed.

Any handover thats requires time should be done smoothly during notice/ transition period. (Super straight forward: As this must be facilitated by both parties agreeing and the effort in doing it.)

Ask for a testimonial and then handover the work, but withhold some important info in case they play punk
