All saving accounts have base interest of 0.05%.

OCBC Frank has a range from 0.2-0.4% depending on amount in account so that is 4x more.

Unless you use a joint account, you can then open investment joint account which pays slightly more interest and even put it into money market which is slightly more. At the time of writing it, it is like 2+%.

You can have a short term, mid term goal and long term goal savings plan for your kids. Short term plan you can open a bank account (dbs/posb), mid term and long term you can consider to start endowment plan for your kids education fees (uni etc), legacy planning etc.
