For SRS, you can do so for S$ denominated REITs. As for stock picks, you need to really ask yourself which stocks you prefer. You can also buy funds using SRS if you do not want to 'think' too much.

Personally i have invested into REITs using my SRS account for income tax purposes :)

1) Should I buy SSBs using SRS funds instead of cash? 2) I'm a young working adult. My tax is abt $400/year. Should I be looking at contributing to SRS now, or use my cash elsewhere?

Would you still recommend investors buy and hold REITs given that a lot of the REITs are slashing their dividends? Or should we buy and sell to take advantage of the market volatility?
