What is the top 3 things you did, which you felt helped put you on the right financial track?

I am curious to know how you started your financial journey, and what were the top 3 things that were most pivotal. Did you learn financial management through books, courses, parents or friends? Was it from getting a trusted financial adviser? Was it learning how to budget, invest or getting your insurance plans in place? Do share your personal stories and pivot points!

Learn how to style your text

Being around people with similar mindset. It is great and motivational to see your peers working towards a similar goal and you can help one another.

Being more receptive and less skeptical to advices. But still it is important to do your due diligience before making any decisions.

Networking. Networking gives you alot of opportunities. Eg. Broker as relatives, insurance agents as friends.
There are alot of opportunities lying around, just know which ones and where to grab it.

Surrounding yourself with the right kind of environment with friends who are good with their finances.

Prioritizing and taking that ownership that mys finance is controlled by me and not others and if I do not do anything about it, no one is going to help me.

Making silly finance mistakes and learning from them.
