What is the stamp duty for ETF in London Stock Exchange?

Is it true that we have to pay a 1% stamp duty when we invest in S&P500 (ireland domiciled) in London Stock Exchange.

I am interested in investing in london stock exchange due to the lower withholding tax but I read that a stamp duty is required.

From this link it mentioned stamp duty is not applied to ETfs.

Yes, this is charged by the Ireland government for other stocks.

It should be mentioned in the stock brokerage fees schedule of the other fees section.
