The two terms mentioned are actually linked together. Performance bonus, is the bonus assigned to you by the company at the end of every policy anniversary. This bonus is assigned to you annually, until the end of the policy term.
Maturity benefit is the final amount in question, which is inclusive of all the accrued performance bonuses. Its also called the maturity amount. Only policies which use the participating fund have bonuses attached to it. This is the return you receive, from the company investing your premiums.
