Do I fund my broker account by transferring SGD from local banks to the online broker and doing the currency conversion via the broker?
Is there a fee for the intl bank transfer? Does anybody know the currency conversion fee for Firstrade (can't seem to find this info)?

Congrats on finding Firstrade as your US broker. I myself use it too. You can remit using Standard Chartered Wire Transfer. There will be no fees. Hope it helps!

As they do not seem to have multicurrency accounts but only USD accounts,
the best way seems to be via TransferWise. But check before, what Your Singapore bank charges for outgoing wires to TransferWise's U.S. domiciled business account.
