What have you seen are the most common causes of divorce in Singapore?

While it is not my place to judge, I feel that most divorces in Singapore are caused by lack of communication (or no knowledge of how to effectively communicate) and lack of time (or unwillingness to set aside time). There are also couples with traditional or conservative mindsets about relationships (e.g. the husband has to pay for everything, wives should take care of the children single-handedly and not ask so much about the husband's whereabouts), which are out of place in today's society. Instead of spending money on divorce lawyers, I would rather that my clients spend money on counsellors and learn about themselves, their children and each other!
