What happens when I declared that I was not going to scuba dive in my Singlife/Aviva MyProtecter Term Plan 2.

What happens when I declared that I was not going to scuba dive in my Singlife/Aviva MyProtecter Term Plan 2.

But I am intending to Scuba dive after 90 days?

Will I be able to claim when if I were to die? I am certified.

Should I and Can I change the declaration? Do I need to wait for 90 days again? This is for just in case of any mishaps

Believe that leisure scuba diving, assuming you are not teaching and going only in approved routes and groups, it'll be covered.

When you took up the plan, was there intention to scuba dive? If yes, safer to put in a memo to update the underwriters.

For myself, I took up a life insurance plan 3 years ago with intention to do outdoor climbing. It came back with exclusion on disability due to climbing both indoor and outdoor. It was a reasonable terms to me, acknowledging the high risk nature of the sports. Should I not declare it, it's easy to trace for evidence on my intention....
