5 cent is still money even though it does not mean much nowadays. However, would I pick up a 5 cent on the floor? Most likely no unless I am very broke.

5 cents can mean a couple of things to me in the world of options trading.

I can earn 5 bucks per contract, or I can close a position for 5 cents or less and not pay any commission with my broker.

That said, for physical 5 cent coins here, you can collect and use up to S$2 worth of such coins in any 1 tranaction
