I owned SIA up till the recent annoucement of the rights issuances, when i decided to cut my losses. But that's my own investment decision, so dyodd, based on your own portfolio composition and investment strategy.
1) What's your rationale for wanting to invest/staying invested in SIA. Many believe as has been shared by other commentors, that eventually the air travel industry will recover and being a GLC with "Singapore" in it's brand name, odds of the company going bust is small, but not impossible. If you have a long investment horizon and can ride out the interim volatility, why not. But..
2) There are opportunity costs involved should you decide to ride with SIA and forego using the invest capital to invest in other stocks that might see a faster recovery in their businesses post-Covid, so of which are still distributing more attractive dividend yields than SIA.

To me. it's risky and I do not want to purchase stock that I do not understand/uncertain with. Kindly note that SIA reported huge losses.
Although it may recover, it will take a long time. Hence, I believe that there are other better stocks out there.
However, if you still wish to purchase SIA stock, then it's up to you. But please do your own due diligence first.
