What do you think is the best first credit card to have? Most worth it in terms of returns/ cashback?

For someone still in school, the simplest and cheapest card to have would be best.

Depending on which bank your high saving account is at, the answer can be different. Personally i uses the DBS Livefresh for 5% cashback, min spending $600. Able to qualify for my DBS mutiplier account criteria too.

Hi Anon, you may want to consider Maybank eVibes credit card specially for students? It gives you 1% cash rebate on all spend, i.e. there are no merchant or category restrictions to earn cash rebate. There's also an Adidas wristwatch when you sign up for the card!
