What do you think cause mid-life crisis?

Just wondering how come all the ppl in the article seemingly have high income / can achieve having holidays w family but they are so unhappy? What do you think?
Is it really because we just chasing for the next better thing, the constant chase overwhelms.
Life means a lot more than chase of material items... ...
