I received a VR headset from a friend, and checked online that it costs around $200. However I don't use it, and I could really use the $200. But if I sell it, and he asks about it, what should I say then?

Sell it - Its better to convert to real use than have something get dusty ? If you tell your friend he dropped 200 bucks onto a glorified paperweight would that be worse than saying you found a way of getting some utility out of it?

I'll sell it. As u don't need it, it will be collecting dust at home. And if ur friend sees it collecting dust, he will feel sad tht he bought u a white elephant. But if he knows that u make use of the gift aka sell it and get something u really need, if he is a true friend, he will understand.
