Considering Singapore market is so so tiny compared to US markets, what do Singapore Fund managers who manage local funds invested in Singapore equities actually do? Volatility in SG is so low, there is not much rebalancing or optimisation to do daily.

Yes, because volatility in SG is low, they focus more on administrative stuffs as well as sales & marketing activities, and of course dealing with existing clients' needs.
