What are your tips to save money in Singapore?

Came across this random video, wasn’t really searching for it, just one of those things that pops up while scrolling YouTube.

Got me wondering how people here actually save money, especially when everything’s so expensive these days – food, transport, rent, even the small things like bubble tea also can feel the pinch. The video mentioned some budgeting and investment tips, but honestly, nothing super new.

Just curious, what do you all actually do to save money here? Like practical, everyday stuff that actually works. Would be nice to hear some fresh ideas!

Learn to cook good meals at home and avoid restaurants (unless it's a special occasion). You'll save hundreds of dollars every month.
