I would say the rewards could be quite appealing in that they give 2x rewards for every $1 spent in overseas transactions while 1X BOC rewards for every $1 spent locally. You can redeem the latest gadgets, dining vouchers or cash rebates from the BOC rewards programme. Also, no annual fees for 2 years for both supplementary and principal cards!!
most attractive point would be that there is no currency exchange fees for retail transactions in RMB with this card so if you spend a lot on chinese goods then this card can help you save quite a lot.
