Mom was born a Malaysian but is now a Singaporean. Her mom (my grandma) has saved up about 30k in ringgit in Malaysia for her, eventually when she passes on she would like to transfer the money to my mom for her own use. So looking for a safe and efficient way to transfer that amount to Singapore. Thanks!

Hi, you can consider using CIMB to do the transfer as I think that funds transfer between CIMB Malaysia and CIMB Singapore is free (no service charge). Just set up a free savings account with CIMB to do so. You can check it out here https://www.cimbbank.com.sg/en/personal/banking...

You can try Transfernow which is base on how much you transfer as well as it has better exchange rates which I have used so far. It is cheaper than M1 Remit and safe too.
But in order to prevent money laundering, it has some step by step security features to follow.
You can use my referral code below to get a free transfer for the first time:

Let me know if you have any question. :)
Cheers.
