Just went to window shop over the weekend and was overwhelmed by the amount of choices and considerations to think of. Any car owners can share some insights on scoring the best deals? Thanks!

Don't really think this is a bargaining technique but one way is to try parallel importers especially if you are getting more high end vehicles. Usually the price listed by parallel importers can also be further negotiated down by a few thousands. Look at SGCarmart and note out a few parallel importers and make enquires. Parallel importers are also more willing to negotiate on clearing models for example if the facelift model is here, they will try to clear the pre-facelift one. Lastly if you want to score a good deal and you dont mind pre-owned, try to get from direct owners and cut out the middle man. You can get a lower depreciation on your vehicle which I think in SG context is more important than sticker price due to the fact you get back 50% of ARF once you scrap in 10 years
